Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a PRN / Pool CT Technologist to perform advanced computed tomography imaging under the direction of a Radiologist. You will produce high-quality diagnostic images and support timely clinical interpretation while prioritizing patient-centered imaging services.

Responsibilities include performing CT procedures per protocols, monitoring patient safety and comfort, aiding efficient patient flow, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered Technologist in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification within six months of hire, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with imaging protocols and radiologist direction.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate clinical interpretation.
• Monitor and support patient safety, comfort, and care during imaging procedures.
• Utilize CT scanners and related imaging technologies to perform diagnostic studies.
• Support efficient patient flow and examination throughput during assigned shifts.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certification, and continuing education requirements.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate’s Degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology

ARRT Registered Technologist

BLS certification

ARRT-CT certification within six months of hire
