Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures in a clinical setting. You will independently operate imaging equipment, prepare patients, administer medications and radiation exposure following safety standards, and analyze data for accuracy and quality.

The role emphasizes patient safety, quality imaging, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, including teaching and supervising students and healthcare providers

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Advanced certification within 24 months for hires after a specified date.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications via vascular access as prescribed and evaluate images for correct positioning and technical quality.
• Assist and perform interventional CT procedures, educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Ensure proper data storage, transfer, and post-processing of images.
