Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Advanced CT Registry within 1 year of hire required.
• AHA CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all CT procedures within the CT Section of Radiology.
• Demonstrates competency with patients of all ages.
• Assesses patients, reviews orders, and communicates with Radiologist.
• Prepares patients for procedures and answers questions.
• Ensures accurate exam timing in RIS for radiologist access.
• Maintains safe environment including radiation safety and infection control.
• Provides excellent guest relations using AIDET.
• Monitors exam timeliness and quality of care.
• Performs QA of exams before radiologist interpretation.
• Participates in achieving patient satisfaction goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
