Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Part-time CT Scan Technologist to join the Imaging Department. The role supports CT examinations, safety protocols, and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires ARRT CT advanced registry, NJ licensure, and 1–3 years of CT experience. Proficiency with RIS/PACS and contrast administration is preferred. Schedule: Mon-Fri 1:30pm–8:00pm, travel to satellite sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of CT experience required.
• Advanced ARRT CT registry required.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program.
• Licensed by NJ State DEP.
• ARRT BLS certification required.
• IV certification preferred.
• Knowledge of RIS and PACS systems recommended.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations with proper positioning, protocols, and factors to produce optimal results.
• Follow departmental protocols unless directed by Radiologist.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control in CT procedures.
• Communicate with Radiologist and verify orders.
• Document patient history and relevant information.
• Maintain CT room cleanliness and organize tasks.
• Prepare patients and provide instructions to reduce anxiety.
• Operate CT equipment safely; experience with contrast procedures.
