Job summary

Summit Health seeks a Part-time CAT Scan Technologist to join the Imaging department. The role supports CT examinations, adherence to Radiology protocols, and delivery of high-quality diagnostic images.

You will work Monday through Friday from 1:30pm to 8:00pm, with travel to satellite locations as needed. Prior CT experience, ARRT registration, and NJ license are required; BLS is also required. The position emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT)
• Advanced CT registry required
• NJ State DEP license required
• BLS certification required and IV certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams following anatomical positioning and CT protocols
• Follows departmental protocol for procedures as directed by Radiologist
• Produces diagnostic images for interpretation
• Ensures patient safety and delivers quality care
• Communicates with Radiologist and verifies orders
• Obtains patient history and relevant information
• Maintains CT room cleanliness and infection control
