Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Maryview Medical Center to perform diagnostic CT scans with patient-centered care and safety at the forefront. You will support radiologists, operate CT equipment, and ensure high-quality imaging across diverse procedures.

The role requires ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology, BLS, CT proficiency, and 1 year of CT/Rad Tech experience preferred. This position offers evening shifts and competitive benefits within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required
• BLS Basic Life Support (AHA) required at hire for some Mercy Health locations
• Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT preferred or must obtain within two years
• State licensure preferred, if required by state where job is performed
• 1 year of CT or Rad Tech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures image quality and verifies patient data and procedure details
• Performs computed tomography procedures
• Performs required timeouts per policy
• Properly positions and immobilizes patients for CT scans
• Acquires radiation exposures as requested by physician
• Administers IV/contrast and related medications as needed
• Assists radiologists with biopsies and related procedures
• Maintains proficiency with CT IT systems (Radiant, PACS)
• Participates in on-call rotation as required
