Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Mary Immaculate Hospital. The role focuses on diagnostic CT imaging and direct patient care with compassionate service. You will support radiology workflows and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnoses.

The position requires ARRT certification and EHR/PACS familiarity, with on-call rotation as needed. Minimum experience and specific licensing requirements vary by location, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT or Rad Tech experience (preferred).
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required at hire for some locations; preferred at hire, required prior to independent patient care at BSMH.
• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• Advanced modality registration in CT (ARRT) preferred, or must obtain within two years.
• State licensure preferred, unless required by the state where the job is performed.

Responsibilities

• Assures the quality of all CT images and confirms correct patient data.
• Performs computed tomography procedures for diagnostic imaging.
• Perform timeout as required per policy.
• Position patients on CT cradles and immobilize as needed for accurate positioning.
• Acquire radiation exposures as requested by the physician and patient history.
• Administer IV injections and contrast agents per procedure.
• Assist radiologist with biopsies or drainage using sterile technique.
• Maintain knowledge of CT IT systems (Radiant, PACS).
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
