Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a CT Technologist at Southside Medical Center to perform diagnostic CT scans and provide direct patient care with compassion and efficiency.

You will ensure image quality, properly position patients, and operate CT equipment while following safety and policy guidelines. ARRT certification and CT modality registration are preferred, with on-call responsibilities as required.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute preferred.
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• Advanced modality registration in CT ARRT preferred or must obtain within two years.
• State Licensure preferred unless required by the state where the job is performed.

Aufgaben

• Assures the quality of all images and confirms that all pertinent patient/procedural data is correct.
• Performs computed tomography procedures.
• Performs timeout as required per policy.
• Properly positions patients on CT scanning cradles and immobilizes them with appropriate devices.
• Makes radiation exposures by energizing scanner per physician request and patient history.
• Performs IV injections and handles IVs, administers oral/rectal/IV contrast agents as needed.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies/drainage using sterile techniques and safe handling of contrast and radiation materials.
• Maintains knowledge of CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.
• Participates in on-call rotation.
