Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks an CT technologist to perform CT and CT-guided procedures under physician supervision. You will educate patients and families, operate imaging equipment safely, and ensure accurate department documentation.

Role requires ARRT or CNMT registries (within 2 years of hire) and CT registry within 2 years. Education in ALD Radiologic Sciences or a trade school certificate is needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire.
• ARRT or CNMT is required.
• CT registry to be obtained within two years of hire.
• Education in ALD Radiologic Sciences or trade school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a physician.
• Provides patient and family education.
• Operates equipment safely and maintains documentation.
• Keeps equipment clean and operational, and maintains supply inventory for examinations.
