Job summary

St. Peter's Hospital, part of St. Peter's Health Partners, is seeking a CT Technologist II for a full-time, evening shift in Albany, New York.

You will perform CT procedures in accordance with department standards, support patient care, and ensure radiation safety practices are followed. Requirements include an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, NYS license with Inject certification, and a minimum of two years' CT experience. Siemens equipment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Current ARRT registration and NYS license with injection certification.
• Siemens equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record complete clinical history relevant to examinations.
• Evaluate requests for appropriateness and refer concerns as needed.
• Instruct patients about the exam and post-procedure details.
• Ensure radiation safety and ALARA practices for patients and staff.
• Complete documentation for patient care and imaging procedures.

Education

AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology

Minimum 2 years CT experience

Current ARRT registration

NYS license with Inject certification

Siemens equipment experience preferred
