Job summary

Albany Memorial Hospital, part of St. Peter's Health Partners, is seeking a CT Technologist II for a full-time role with a weekend track schedule (10:30am-11:00pm). The position requires ARRT, NYS license and injection certification, with a strong emphasis on ALARA and patient care.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience.
• Current ARRT registration and NYS license required; certification to Inject.

Responsibilities

• Perform all CT procedures in accordance with department standards.
• Obtain and record complete clinical history for requested examinations.
• Evaluate requests for appropriateness and refer concerns to radiologists.
• Instruct patients on the nature of exams and post-procedure expectations.
• Ensure ALARA radiation protection for patients and staff; participate in the dosimetry program.
• Complete documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures and RIS.
• Assist in instructing new personnel.
