St Peter's Health Partners in Wilton, NY is seeking a CT Technologist II for a full-time day shift. The role performs CT procedures under the Medical Imaging Chief, ensuring high standards and patient safety.

The ideal candidate holds an AAS in Radiologic Technology with ARRT registration, NYS license and Inject certification, plus 2+ years CT experience. Siemens equipment and Cardiac CTA experience are a plus. Competitive pay range available.

Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years' CT Technologist experience.
• Current ARRT registration, NYS license and injection certification.
• Siemens equipment experience preferred.
• Cardiac CTA experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records a complete clinical history pertinent to the examination.
• Evaluates requests for appropriateness and refers concerns.
• Instructs patients on the exam nature.
• Communicates post-procedure information clearly.
• Adheres to ALARA radiation protection principles.
• Participates in the ALARA dosimetry program.
• Documents patient care, imaging procedures and RIS data.
• Uses positioning devices correctly to ensure safe, accurate exams.
• Assists in training new personnel.
