Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Registered CT Scan/Radiology Technologist to perform CT scans, assist the Radiologist during invasive procedures, and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging. The role requires identifying patients, documenting history, and coordinating contrast administration per policy.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT CT registration within 1 year, NJDEP license with ARRT registry, and 1 year of CT experience; a 2-year radiology background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registered; CT registry required within 1 year.
• A.A.S. Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience; two years preferred.
• Current state license (NJDEP) and ARRT registry required.

Responsibilities

• Directly assists Radiologist during all aspects of invasive procedures and performs CT scan examinations as directed by the Radiologist.
• Properly identifies patient and exam and performs diagnostic radiographic services with care, while evaluating technical quality.
• Communicates clinical observations during CT scan examinations to Radiologist.
• Presents clinical history as recorded on appropriate documentation to Radiologist.
• Injects contrast for CT Scans per department policy; patient questionnaire reviewed prior to start of exam.
• Performs 3-D imaging functions.
