Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Registered CT Technologist to perform CT scans and assist Radiologists during invasive procedures for diagnostic purposes. The role requires ARRT CT registry, PA license, and strong patient communication skills.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, contrast administration, and ensuring high-quality images are sent to PACS, with ongoing professional development through in-services and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered.
• Advanced CT registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Current state license (NJDEP) and ARRT registration required.
• 1 year CT scanning experience; 2+ years preferred.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and perform CT scans as directed.
• Communicate clinical observations to Radiologist.
• Review patient history and prepare documentation for imaging.
• Inject contrast per department policy and complete CT questionnaires.
• Perform 3-D imaging and educate patients about their examination.
• Maintain image quality and ensure accurate data sent to PACS.
