Community Health Resources in Connecticut is seeking a Residential Counselor to support individuals in crisis at Bridge Street Apartments. You will provide crisis stabilization, life skills coaching, and connect clients with mental health resources while working within a collaborative team.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years' experience with similar populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ experience working with a relevant population preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains program standards to CHR, DMHAS, JCAHO and licensing standards.
• Monitors medications of all residents per policy.
• Teaches and assists residents in rehab areas like nutrition, hygiene, budgeting, and home care.
