Equiliem is seeking a Staff Nurse for a correctional facility in Bridgeton, NJ. The role emphasizes nursing processes and collaboration with healthcare professionals and security officers to meet inmates' health needs with ambulatory care as a focus.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, NJ licensed, CPR certified, and hold a valid driver's license. BSN preferred; 1 year correctional experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• License to practice in the State of New Jersey.
• CPR Certification required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of correctional setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow nursing protocols and act as assigned team leader.
• Assess and identify health needs of adults and geriatrics (18+).
• Implement prescribed nursing interventions for inmates.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care respecting security procedures.
• Communicate respectfully with patients, security staff, and healthcare team.
• Maintain licensure, credentials, and pursue ongoing education.
• Contribute to coworker development and maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Work effectively in a stressful correctional setting.
