Job summary

Mount Sinai West is seeking a part-time Cooks Helper to assist in food production from 3:30pm to 8:00pm, weekends and holidays. Under supervision, you’ll support the cooking process and food prep ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include receiving items, measuring ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and adhering to schedules and OSHA/JCAHO guidelines. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Receiving food items and supplies and preparing for production.
• Assembling and measuring ingredients per standard recipe.
• Operating and cleaning kitchen equipment according to guidelines.
• Following schedules and job assignments as instructed by supervisor.
