Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time kitchen associate to support our dining operations. The position runs from 2:30pm to 7:00pm, with responsibilities including preparing high-quality meals per recipes and dietary orders, while teaming with the Food & Beverage leadership to manage supplies, inventory, and proper leftovers storage.

Candidates should have at least two years of kitchen experience, knowledge of sanitation standards, and strong communication and customer service

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in all stations of a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with team members.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and diet orders.
• Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply tasks, secure items for prep, store leftovers correctly, and maintain inventories.
