American Senior Communities is seeking a Cook for the full-time evening shift to prepare and serve nutritious meals in a senior-care setting. You will follow menus, ensure food safety, and lead kitchen tasks from prep to delivery.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; related exp acceptable.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling cert.
• Preferred: Prior institutional/Healthcare kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares food per menus meeting residents’ nutritional needs.
• Cooks nutritious meals in required quantities.
• Leads kitchen staff with food prep, trays, cleaning, and supplies storage.
• Maintains a clean food service area during prep and service.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food per procedures and regulations.
