Allure of Peru in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Cook for evening shifts to prepare nutritious meals for residents, following established menus and cooperating with our Dietitian and Food Services leadership to deliver high-quality dining experiences daily.

You will ensure safety and sanitation, accommodate dietary needs, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth operations in a warm, family-like workplace. Growth opportunities and competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare dietary or food service preferred but not required.
• Current State Food Service Sanitation Certification (not required).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Self-motivated, flexible team player with strong integrity.
• Compassionate approach when working with residents and coworkers.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
• Assist with special diet menu planning as prescribed by physicians.
• Ensure food is prepared and served according to safety and sanitation standards.
• Work closely with the facility Dietitian to implement dietary recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local food service regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
