Job summary

Allure of Peru is seeking a Full-Time Cook for evening shifts in a skilled nursing and healthcare setting. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow menus and safety standards, and collaborate with the Dietitian and Food Services leadership to deliver high-quality dining experiences for residents.

Ideal candidates may have healthcare food service experience and must read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare food service preferred but not required.
• Current State Food Service Sanitation Certification available but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.
• Assist with special diet menu planning as prescribed by physicians.
• Ensure food is prepared and served according to safety and sanitation standards.
• Work closely with the Dietitian to implement dietary recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local food service regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
