Job summary

Allure of Peru in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Cook for evening shifts to prepare nutritious meals for residents, following established menus and cooperating with our Dietitian and Food Services leadership to deliver high-quality dining experiences daily.

You will ensure safety and sanitation, accommodate dietary needs, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth operations in a warm, family-like workplace. Growth opportunities and competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare dietary or food service preferred but not required.
• Current State Food Service Sanitation Certification (not required).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

About the Role

You will follow established menus, policies, and regulations while collaborating closely with our Dietitian and Food Services leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences every day.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move throughout the workday

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds

• Ability to taste and smell food to ensure quality
