Job summary

WesleyLife's Fieldstone of DeWitt in DeWitt, IA, is hiring a Cook/Homemaker to support residents' health and daily dining. You’ll prepare hot and cold dishes, follow chef-approved recipes, and collaborate with culinary leaders in a professional kitchen.

Opening shifts are 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 3:30 PM–7:30 PM. The role offers competitive hourly pay ($16.92–$24.85), DailyPay, flexible scheduling, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth within a compassionate senior living community.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cooking experience.
• Experience with quantity cooking and modified diets preferred.
• Culinary education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a variety of hot and cold dishes daily using chef-approved recipes.
• Collaborate with Chefs and Culinary Directors in a professional kitchen.
• Help craft meals that meet modified diet plans for residents.
• Monitor food quality, manage portions, and ensure every plate meets service standards.
• Follow proper sanitation and waste-control practices in the kitchen.
