Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Lincoln, NE seeks a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager and prepare meals for residents in our restaurant-style Dining experience called the Bread Basket.

This role offers a 20-30 hour schedule with weekend availability, benefits eligibility for full-/part-time status, and daily pay options. You will follow recipes, ensure proper temperatures, and interact with residents to enhance their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus and expectations.
• Serve food timely at correct temperatures and well plated.
• Follow kitchen processes during meal service.
• Interact with residents to enhance dining experiences.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Track diets, allergies, and preferences from resident information.
• Maintain regulatory-compliant food service records.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Ensure Bistro/Beverage Bar is stocked for tours and events.
