Larksfield Place Retirement Communities is seeking a dependable cook for the evening shift in our health care center in Wichita, KS. You will prepare meals according to standardized recipes, maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen, and support a positive dining experience for residents.

Requires a minimum of two years in professional cooking, knowledge of food safety, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. TB screening, Kansas Food Handler's Card, and ServSafe preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, or similar setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and resident dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are portioned and presented to Larksfield Place standards.
• Assist with meal service for residents in healthcare settings.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and food safety in compliance with regulations.
• Support inventory rotation and kitchen organization.
