Larksfield Place Retirement Communities in Wichita, KS is seeking a Part-Time Assisted Living Server to join our hospitality team. You will work 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, four days per week, providing restaurant-style service to residents with warmth and attention to detail.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a focus on delivering high-quality dining experiences in a vibrant senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality settings preferred.
• Physical exam showing freedom from communicable diseases required.
• Courteous, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work the 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM evening schedule, four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests with warmth and professionalism
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
• Serve meals and beverages efficiently, ensuring excellent presentation and accuracy
• Check in with residents during meals and respond promptly to additional service needs
• Perform side work, including table set-up, restocking, and cleaning, to maintain a polished dining room
• Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and smooth dinner service
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols
• Respond to resident feedback and service needs with respect and a helpful attitude
• Help create a welcoming, restaurant-style dining experience for our Assisted Living residents
