Qualifications

• Experience with controlled substances preferred.

• ECM knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• Light lifting as needed.
• Hourly pay is competitive and based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and administration.
• Evaluate and recommend medication or therapy changes when necessary.
• Handle and monitor controlled substances/narcotics.
• Maintain accurate records of controlled medications for legal and inventory purposes.
• Maintain customer medical, clinical, and laboratory information.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related questions and concerns.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure proper security and storage of medications.
• Perform on-call duties when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all applicable pharmacy regulations.
