Fresenius Kabi in Grand Island, Nebraska, seeks a compounding operator for 2nd shift (2:00 PM–11:30 PM, Mon–Fri). The role involves accurate weighing and mixing of chemical compounds in a Class 100,000 clean room, ensuring compliance with cGMP and SOPs, with strong teamwork and documentation skills.

Required are an associate degree (or equivalent experience), ability to lift 40+ pounds, and PPE training. English fluency and willingness to work overtime are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience preferred.
• Heavy lifting of 40+ pounds required.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Trained and qualified in PPE (respirators).
• Good attention to detail, problem solving, communication and documentation skills.
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability a plus.
• English as primary business language; able to read/write/speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, check and verify compounds for product formulation in a Class 100,000 clean room.
• Monitor mixing and ancillary equipment; calibrations and preventive maintenance.
• Comply with cGMPs, SOPs and document for each batch.
• Interact with Aseptic Control Operator Filler and Stopper Prep Operator to ensure timely delivery of formulated products.
• Make minor equipment adjustments and assist with changeovers and setup.
