Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification/course required or preferred.
• Knowledge of brain injury and neurological disabilities preferred.
• CNA/RA certifications strongly preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a therapeutic agent by teaching, reinforcing, and observing participant behavior.
• Tends to participants' immediate safety needs and reduces health care errors.
• Provides treatment aligned with unit policies during activities and daily routines.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate interaction and professional communication with residents and families.
• Documents changes and behaviors in ISP and treatment plans; completes required paperwork.
• Maintains scheduling flexibility to meet residents' needs and program requirements.
• Participates in all required training programs and adheres to hospital policies.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervising team.
