Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin seeks a dedicated caregiver to provide ongoing care and treatment to residents living with mental illness in a community-based residential facility. The role emphasizes compassionate support, safety, and recovery-focused practices.

You will supervise residents, assist with medications, document care activities, and collaborate with managers, case managers, and service providers. Occasional travel is required for community integration and program participation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; prior experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Associates' degree or 1 year of human services experience preferred.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and supervision to residents.
• Supervise resident medications, dispensing accurately, and reporting compliance.
• Document resident care and facility operations.
• Assist with community integration activities.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Complete required training in a timely manner.
• Occasional travel for community integration.
