Job summary

CAMBA Inc is looking for a full-time Security Guard to welcome visitors, monitor access, and ensure safety at their Brooklyn location. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and a valid NYS Security Guard License.

The role includes various responsibilities such as responding to emergencies, enforcing center rules, and maintaining logs of incidents. Compensation is $17.00 hourly, and benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Welcome onsite visitors and determine the nature of their business.
• Greet visitors and members in a professional manner.
• Monitor visitor access and sign in all participants and staff.
• Verify identification for program participants.
• Maintain presence at the front desk to assist inquiries.
• Assist with security during emergencies or disruptions.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Security Guard License issued by NYS
