Job summary

The Mentor/Tutor position is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and supports the PEOPLE program at multiple Milwaukee Public High Schools. The role requires after-school hours (3:30-6 PM), part-time engagement, and travel within the Milwaukee area as part of community outreach.

Compensation is $18.91 per hour with travel considerations and program-based duties. We seek candidates with a high school diploma and a preference for a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Mentor/Tutor engages students in teambuilding and social/emotional wellness activities prepared by PEOPLE Educational Content Specialists and Precollege Advisors.
• Help students learn to succeed in high school academic life and prepare for college.
• Research UW college services and resources to connect students with social and academic support.
• Mentors/Tutors serve as role models according to PEOPLE standards and compliance.
