Job summary

Alpharus Health Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Carbondale, IL, is seeking a CNA to assist nursing staff in a residential care environment. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the nursing staff in providing care to clients in a residential treatment setting.
• Take client vitals (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, blood sugar) under RN supervision and document readings.
• Monitor self-administration of medications and report reactions or concerns to nursing staff.
• Conduct periodic dorm checks, client and property searches to ensure safety.
• Assist with routine tasks such as storing supplies and handling phones, photocopying, scanning and filing documents.
