Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling.
• Experience with residential treatment settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate group counseling sessions and educational programs.
• Conduct individual counseling for crises intervention and guidance.
• Document clients' progress and responses to treatment.
• Maintain client records; ensure accuracy and currency.
• Monitor clients in medication self-administration and safety.
