Qualifications

• One year of CNA experience in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Current state CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' individual needs (bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulating).
• Take and record patient vital signs, assist with lifting/moving, transportation with proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management and ask clarifying questions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
