Job summary

Signature HealthCARE at Heritage Hall Rehab & Wellness Center in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our resident-centered team. CNAs provide direct resident care under licensed staff, support ADLs, and help maintain a compassionate, safe environment in line with our care plans.

You will record vital signs, assist with transfers, and participate in staff training, while upholding rigorous cleanliness standards and timely responses to call lights.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Nursing Assistant certification in the state of operation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing staff and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice and the resident's care plan.
• Change bed linens and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other resident data as assigned.
• Routinely turn and reposition residents to maintain comfort and prevent complications.
• Respect and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas and ensure a clean, safe setting.
• Promptly respond to call lights and assist residents as needed.
• Assist with orientation and training of other staff when requested.
• Engage in special projects and duties as assigned.
