Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant for 2:00pm - 10:15pm shifts, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. The Mandan, ND facility offers long-term care, skilled nursing, dialysis, post-acute care and restorative therapy in a private-room setting.

The NA will provide resident-centered care, assist with daily living activities, document care, monitor vital signs and support wellness programs under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in the process of obtaining certification.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Annual continuing education credits requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming and dressing as needed.
• Record vital signs and monitor resident condition; communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Support meals, hydration, and nutrition; assist with dining experience.
• Aide transfer, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises; assist with mobility.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs; assist with housekeeping and laundry as needed.
