Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to residents in long term care, delivering resident‑centered nursing care and daily living support under the supervision of a registered nurse. Provides assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and vital signs while following care plans and infection control policies.

Responsibilities include documenting interactions, communicating changes to the charge nurse, assisting with transfers, and supporting wellness and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board, or in process within four months by enrolled training, or endorsement.
• CNA training and certification provided by the facility.
• Minimum age 16; prior CN A experience preferred as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic health care needs (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.).
• Document resident interactions and report changes in condition to charge nurse.
• Adhere to infection prevention/control policies and PPE usage; assist with transfers and mobility as trained.
