Job summary

Good Samaritan Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 2:00pm-10:15pm shifts, every other weekend, with rotating holidays in Mandan, ND. This full-time role involves resident-centered care, daily living assistance, and collaboration with the nursing team in a 128-bed facility.

Requirements include a CNA certification or active enrollment, minimum age 16, and preferred long-term care experience. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16 and prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board or in process within four months.
• 12 hours of CE credits annually and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and vital signs.
• Support transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises; assist with meals.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

CNA certification or in progress
