Job summary

Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation Smithfield, VA, seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time evening shifts. You will provide personal care, assist with meals and mobility, and support residents in a home-like Household setting.

The role requires a Virginia CNA license, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and a First Aid cert within 30 days; you will document care and participate in care planning to promote residents' safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) upon hire (Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross within 30 days (Required)
• First Aid Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross within 30 days (Required)

Responsibilities

• Attends to resident/guest personal hygiene and care needs including grooming, dining, mobility and safety.
• Organizes supplies and prepares care spaces; follows infection control and safety standards.
• Maintains documentation for caregiving, meals, activities and medications in the Household.
• Supports residents in daily activities and social interactions to promote well-being.
• Participates in care planning and acts as advocate for residents' choices and preferences.
