Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation Smithfield is seeking a compassionate Household Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in a household setting, focusing on daily living activities and psychosocial well being.

The role involves assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and meals, coordinating supplies, and documenting care within the Household. Cross-trained to support multiple tasks, you will promote safety and comfort for residents in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Prior Nurse Aide work experience preferred.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in Virginia required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days.
• First Aid certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Attends to all resident/guest personal hygiene and care needs.
• Organizes supplies necessary to complete tasks.
• Observes residents/guests, reports changes to nursing/household leadership.
• Follows infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice.
• Maintains clean household spaces and supports meals and laundry.
• Documents caregiving, social services, medication administration and activities.
• Participates in quality improvement processes to ensure quality outcomes.
