Job summary

Eastern Star Home in Oriskany, NY is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Evening Shift to provide high-quality nursing care to residents with dignity and respect. You will assist with daily living activities and participate in shift handovers with the nurse.

Responsibilities include routine care, reviewing care profiles, and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma and CNA certification.
• On-the-job or equivalent training in nursing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, daily nursing care to assigned residents, following established procedures and supervisor guidance.
• Review Resident Care Profiles daily to ensure appropriate nursing care and assist with daily living activities.
• Report changes in resident condition and incidents to the Charge Nurse.
