Eastern Star Home in Oriskany, NY is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Day Shift to provide routine nursing care and assist residents with daily activities. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, daily nursing care to assigned residents under supervision.
• Receive and participate in shift reports from the nurse.
• Review Resident Care Profiles daily to ensure appropriate care.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hairstyling).
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; report changes in condition to Charge Nurse.
• Follow established policies and procedures and maintain a positive, helpful demeanor.

About the Role:

As a CNA Day Shift at Eastern Star Home, you will be responsible for providing routine, daily nursing care to assigned residents, following established nursing care procedures and as directed by your supervisor. You will also participate in and receive report from the nurse upon reporting for duty, review Resident Care Profiles daily, and assist residents with daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide routine, daily nursing care to assigned residents, following established nursing care procedures and as directed by your supervisor
• Participate in and receive report from the nurse upon reporting for duty
• Review Resident Care Profiles daily to ensure appropriate nursing care
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and hairstyling
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Report all changes in resident condition, accidents, and incidents to the Charge Nurse
• Perform all assignments and tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, interact with residents, visitors, physicians, volunteers, and co-workers in a friendly and helpful manner

Requirements:

• High School Diploma and Nursing Assistant certification
• On-the-job or equivalent training in nursing procedures
• Ability to perform lifting, bending, and stretching without limitations
