Job summary

Homewood Living Plum Creek is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant for the Evening Shift. This part-time role provides daily living activities under licensed staff supervision in a geriatric setting.

You will support hygiene, nutrition, and mobility while maintaining resident confidentiality and safety. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, recording observations accurately, and participating in care planning to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and transfer 30 pounds frequently.
• Must stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn during shift.
• Must be listed on state Nursing Assistant registry within 120 days.
• Ability to speak and read English to understand care plans and provide resident care.
• Desire to work with geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide clean linens and make beds.
• Support proper nutrition and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform resident treatments as directed by the Team Leader.
• Record resident information accurately and report changes.
• Participate in resident care planning.
• Promote activities of daily living per care plan.
• Assist with lifts/transfers per care plan.
