Job summary

Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital is seeking a part-time nurse aide to assist hospitalized patients with daily living activities under RN supervision. You will communicate with nursing staff about patient needs and respond promptly in emergencies.

The role requires a Vermont LNA license, current BLS certification, and strong teamwork in a supportive, patient-centered environment. This position includes a 24-hour/ week schedule with every-other-weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School graduate or GED; LNA licensure in Vermont; BLS cert required.
• Other Requirements: Able to communicate effectively; computer literate; EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists hospitalized patients with activities of daily living as assigned and supervised by a Registered Nurse.
• Communicates with Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager and co-workers about patient needs.
• Responds quickly and appropriately in emergent situations.
