Job summary

Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital in Vermont is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support hospitalized patients with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks during 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., every other weekend.

You will work closely with the RN, communicate patient needs to the care team, and respond swiftly in emergencies while maintaining computer literacy and EHR familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current LNA licensure in Vermont required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Computer literate.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospitalized patients with activities of daily living as assigned by the Registered Nurse.
• Communicate patient needs to Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager and co-workers as appropriate.
• Respond quickly and appropriately in emergent situations.
• Participate as a collaborative member of the care team.
