Job summary

Good Samaritan Society’s Valley View Manor in Velva, ND is seeking a part-time, evening Certified Med Aide I (CMAI). Training provided. You will help with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as delegated by a licensed nurse. Includes on-site training, PTO and Holiday Pay.

Wages start at $18.75 per hour. This PRN position offers meaningful work in an assisted living setting with a Christian mission and a not-for-profit culture.

Qualifications

• Completion and certification in an accredited nursing assistant training program and state approved medication aide course as required by state where location is located.
• Basic ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to measure quantities; knowledge of medications’ effects and side effects.
• May require a high school diploma or GED in state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs and provide resident-centered personal care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and meals.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document resident cares and observations according to policies.
