Job summary

ECU Health Physicians is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinic operations in Greenville, NC. The role involves taking vital signs, collecting patient histories, and assisting clinicians with patient care.

You will perform data entry and manage both hard copy and electronic medical records, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This full-time position offers a 2:00 pm–10:00 pm shift with weekend coverage and benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification: AAMA, AMT or NHA CCMA with 2 years experience or approved training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinic operations and assist providers with vitals and patient questionnaires.
• Enter data and manage medical records in hard copy or electronic form.
• Provide patient care and customer service as needed.
• Maintain clinical documentation and follow clinician directions.
