Job summary

ECU Health Physicians in Greenville, NC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate clinic operations, take vitals, complete patient questionnaires, enter data, and manage medical records. You will support providers and perform basic clinical duties with accurate documentation.

Required BLS and CMA/AMT/CCMA certifications; this is a full-time, day-shift role with weekday hours and no weekend/on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• High School diploma or equivalent or higher
• Certification options: CMA, RMA, or CCMA as listed

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinic operations and assist providers with vital signs and patient intake
• Perform patient care services and ensure accurate documentation of care
• Enter data and manage medical records (paper and electronic)
• Assist with and provide customer service as necessary while maintaining time management
