Job summary

ECU Health Physicians in Greenville, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support, assist with clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.

This full-time, Day shift position offers benefits; hours are 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday with no weekends or on-call. A HS diploma or equivalent is required, with 10+ years of MA experience or related substitution options.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent (or higher) required.
• 10+ years of Medical Assistant experience or related experience may be substituted for High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.
• Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA.
• American Heart Association BLS Required.
